Prenatal​​

 Our unique table allows mom to lay face down comfortably and safely so that we can access and fully treat the back, hips and legs that are often the major areas of complaint. Our table has an adjustable band that works for all stages of pregnancy so you can always feel supported, but never too much pressure on your growing belly! When it's time to turn over, you're elevated on a wedge to keep you comfortable so you can enjoy your massage. Some of the most common things we treat during pregnancy are: 
  • Sciatica
  • Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction
  • Muscle tension and spasms

  • Headaches and neck tension

  • Swelling in the hands and feet

  • Lower back pain

Postpartum

In the postpartum period and beyond, mom needs just as much care as she did during pregnancy! The body is recovering from pregnancy and childbirth as well as the high demands of caring for an infant. Both physically and mentally, it's important for mom to take the time to recover and care for herself so that she can be the best mom she can be! Postpartum appointments might include treatments for:

  • Postpartum depression & anxiety

  • Post c-section swelling or pain

  • Low milk supply

  • Clogged Milk Ducts

  • Insomnia

  • Headaches

  • Carpal Tunnel or De Quarvain's Syndrome (wrist, finger, and hand pain, numbness , or tingling from holding baby)

  • Muscle pain and tension

Manual Lymphatic Drainage*

Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses very gentle massage strokes to stimulate the superficial lymphatic system that will drain out excess fluid and allow for better circulation to the area treated. It is used before and after surgery (cosmetic or orthopedic), those suffering from many types of edema, including lymphedema usually caused by removal or damage to the lymph nodes (often due to cancer treatments).  MLD has many wonderful and unique uses for individual who have not had surgery or may not have visible swelling. We also use MLD for:

  • Allergies or chronic sinus problems
  • TMJ Syndrome (jaw pain)
  • Facial puffiness & under eye "bags"
  • Chronic Lyme Disease
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Chronic inflammatory diseases
  • Milk duct clogs from breastfeeding/mastitis prevention
